AVIS vehicles are inspected every morning prior to rental to ensure that the process of clients taking possession of their vehicle is as smooth and hassle-free as possible.

Therefore, when you arrive at the branch, all you need to do is present your documents and sign the rental forms. Along with the contract and consent to the processing of personal data, you will also be given a vehicle acceptance report documenting the current state of damage to the vehicle.
Our vehicles are in excellent condition as for the convenience of our clients we replace vehicles mostly on a 6 or 12 month basis. This is because we care about our clients having the feeling of luxury and a new vehicle. By frequently selling off running vehicles, we ensure that in most cases the acceptance reports are empty, as the vehicle is brand new.

Nevertheless, for your own comfort and sense of security, we recommend that you inspect the vehicle thoroughly, take pictures and identify yourself with the condition that is on the acceptance report. In the rare event that new damage is found, please contact the transferring agent at the branch immediately. In the event of damage occurring during your rental, please contact us immediately at info@avis.sk. It may take several working days for the fleet department to quantify the damage as we take care to minimise additional costs to the client. We are always looking for a way to repair the damage as inexpensively as possible. When damage occurs, you need to report the city and time of the accident to take advantage of the breakdown insurance, which is absolutely free from us already included in the rental price!
