Additional terms and
conditions for K and L groups of vehicles:

|
- Rates include unlimited km, insurance (except
special price lists with the limit of km). VAT is
not included in the rate.

- Avis Prestige rents solely vehicles of special
categories as sport, luxury cars, and 4x4 and sport
luxury SUV of prestige brands.
Liability:
Customer is liable for all fees relating to rental
period during which the customer has used the vehicle.
Equipment:
Duration of rental:
The Avis Rental vehicles has to be returned only
during valid opening hours, it is not possible to return
a vehicle out of opening hours.
In case a car is returned with delay of more than 29
minutes, additional whole day is charged.
Payment terms and conditions/rental terms and
conditions:
- Calculated rental, full fuel tank, insurance
participation are taken from hirer at
commencement of rental in the form of deposit.
- Hirer has to be a holder of driver’s licence
for more than 5 years.
- Avis Prestige reserves the right to reject
rental without giving a reason.
- Minimum age limits allowing car rental are
defined for each category.
- Please inform about age limits already at car
reservation, every car has different age limits.
- It is not possible to conduct racing with a car,
whether regular or spontaneous, in case such breach
of authorizations is committed, hirer is obliged to
reimburse full damage resulting from that,
irrespective of insurance coverage amount, or the
renter is entitled to take away the deposit in full
amount without giving a reason.
- Each additional driver has to be notified in
advance at commencement of rent and his name as well
as driver’s licence and date of birth has to be part
of contract, however, it could not exceed 3 people
in total per one rent contract.
Insurance:
- Theft, damage or accident of vehicle: Rates
specified in the rental price list include insurance
against theft and accident, however, every damage is
subject to insurance participation, which can be
reduced by special insurance, however, it is at
minimum 20% or 3319,39 EUR (100 000 Sk). Insurance
deposit can be returned in full amount only when a
car is returned without damage.
- All accidents has to be reported within 24 hours
and report on accident with complete data about
other injured party in given moment has to be filled
out. Failure to fill out or deliver documents
relating to accident may cause that insurance, the
hirer has, will not be valid and the renter uses the
hirer’s deposit in full amount for compensation of
damage.
Rental period/territorial validity:

The hirer is obliged to notify any prolongation of
rental at least 24 hours prior to agreed termination
of rental, and he has to realize it personally in
representation of renter and has to obtain written
permission on such prolongation, while he is obliged
to pay rent in full amount to the renter with
prolongation. Any failure to prolong within time is
deemed as unauthorised use of somebody other’s
vehicles with all consequences.

Vehicles rented by Avis Prestige may not leave the
territory of Slovakia, unless only with special
permission of the renter, as car is not insured
outside the territory of the SR and travelling
outside it is not authorized by the renter.
Poplatky:
- does not include price for consumed fuel and
other fillings (as oil, radiator water and
windscreen washer water).

minimum (in case damage does not exceed 3319,39 EUR
- SKK 100,000), in case the damage amount is higher
than 3319,39 EUR - SKK 100,000, participation is
15%.

vehicles are available in the office in Bratislava,
outside this office, we deliver the car for a fee
depending on distance in km
Important warning:
In case of rental for business entities, the
client has a VAT deduction possibility. In some
cases, costs for car rental are covered by
insurance company or vehicle manufacturer.
